A developer with over 2,500-3,000 MW of “ready-to-build” wind projects in Romania, Lucian has taken many of these projects to the exit phase. With extensive experience in renewable energy project development, Lucian is one of the technical expertise pillars of the team. In 2015, he and Dan Constantin decided to collaborate, laying the foundation for a successful partnership.

Is known for founding Betty Ice in 1994, the largest national player in the ice cream market, with an annual turnover of over 30 million euros, 30,000 sales points, 1,200 employees in the summer season, and a presence in 5 international markets. After a successful exit in 2018, he diversified his investments, focusing on areas such as green energy and real estate. He is appreciated for his discipline and for his ability to play by his own rules in the business world. His varied experience and success in facing industry giants have turned him into a success model.

He entered entrepreneurship in 1994, getting involved in the family construction business. In 2001, together with the German group DAW SE, he founded DAW Bența Romania, one of the leaders in the production of paints and finishing materials, representing the Caparol brand in Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova. Under his leadership, the company expanded with new production units in 2019 and 2022. In the real estate sector, he developed notable projects such as the headquarters of EON Romania and invested in premium residential and green energy. In 2024, it demonstrated its commitment to the community by completing the construction of a 33 million euro oncology hospital.

An electrical engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector, he began his career in 2006. At the age of 23, he was coordinating the power supply for the COSMOTE network in the eastern part of Romania, managing over 1,800 antennas. In 2008, he became involved in the renewable energy market, being one of the first members of the Romanian Wind Energy Association. He worked at a company that later became part of Mytilineos Group, a global leader in the industry, where he held the position of technical director for 9 years. In 2015, he partnered with Lucian Zlate, forming a team with solid know-how in the energy sector.
